66th Annual Flower Show at DU

New Delhi: The 66th annual flower show, jointly organised by the Flower Show Committee and the School of Open Learning, University of Delhi, was held at the Gautam Buddha Centenary Garden, near the administrative block on North Campus, on Friday. The event was based on the theme of ‘Women Nurturing Nature: A Celebration of Synergy and Sustainability’. Featuring a diverse array of flora including cacti, orchids, succulent and herbal plants, the show attracted enthusiasts and visitors alike.

Zoological Society fest on March 5-6

The renowned Zoological Society, ZOONOMIA, is set to host its annual fest, CHRYSALIS’24, on March 5 and 6 at Kalindi College. The event would include a mix of fun games and engaging learning sessions on day one and various performances on the second day.

G’gram varsity to hold convocation

Gurugram: The second convocation of Gurugram University will be held on March 5. Around 1,069 degrees will be conferred on the occasion — 469 students of the 2022 batch and 600 students of the 2023 batch. Besides, 46 students will also receive gold medals. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dinesh Kumar said Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, who is also the Chancellor of the university, will be the chief guest. Dr Kailash Chandra Sharma, Chairperson of the Haryana State Higher Education Council, will attend the ceremony as a special guest. The university administration will conduct the last rehearsal on Monday.
