Eighty researchers from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) have been featured in Stanford University’s ‘World’s Top 2% Scientists’ list, with 56 of them from AIIMS-New Delhi.
The report, released by the US’ Stanford University and Elsevier, recognises scientists based on single-year and career-long impact.
Lonial Sagar from AIIMS-New Delhi, and Charan Jaykaran BS and Kanchan Tanuj from AIIMS-Jodhpur are among the top 500 researchers featured this year.
Among other Indian institutions, Indian Institutes of Technology contributed 755 researchers, National Institutes of Technology 330, and the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, 117.
