Joint Commissioner of Police (IFSO) Rajneesh Gupta stated that 877 accused were arrested or bound down based on technical and financial evidence, 509 notices were issued under Section 35 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita to those linked to backward financial chains, and 360 new FIRs were registered against identified cyber fraudsters.

A total of 3,777 NCRP complaints were successfully linked to identified mule accounts and mobile networks, significantly strengthening investigative leads. Several illegal call centres were also neutralised, preventing ongoing and potential frauds, Gupta added.
