Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Sunday claimed that the AAP did nothing to curb air pollution in the national capital for a decade while the BJP-led government took many steps to address the issue.
Sirsa, in a video message, said that the AAP focused mainly on advertisement while the Rekha Gupta-led government took immediate steps such as installation of anti smoke guns on high-rise buildings in the city.
“They did nothing for ten years and now want us to wash their sins in seven months,” Sirsa added.
Commenting on the issue of AQI monitoring station installed amid greenery in Bawana, the Minister said that it was installed during the AAP rule.
“They only spread lies. They invested 100 crore on advertisement of the odd-even scheme but did nothing on the ground,” he added.
