Sanjeev Jha, AAP MLA from Burari, visited the flood-affected areas of Jahangirpuri in North Delhi on Saturday. He alleged that people had been living in knee-deep water without electricity and no minister from the Delhi Government came to visit the affected areas.

During the visit, the MLA distributed mosquito nets at relief camps and slammed the BJP government for being “missing in action.” He said people were even deprived of basic medical facilities and Small children were falling sick at the relief camps.

Jha said Jahangirpuri had never experienced flooding in the past 15 years. “Water has engulfed the area in the past four days. All Jahangirpuri blocks, especially D and E, are submerged till waist-deep water,” he said.
