The torch march was led by ABVP’s panel of candidates, presidential nominee Vikas Patel, vice-presidential nominee Tanya Kumari, general secretary candidate Rajeshwar Kant Dubey, and joint secretary candidate Anuj. Carrying torches and chanting slogans, the students showcased their solidarity and support for the organisation’s agenda in the university elections.

Speaking about the event, ABVP JNU’s central election coordinator Arun Srivastava said, “The crowd clearly indicates that the Left’s dominance on campus is coming to an end. This time, ABVP is poised to win all four central panel seats.”
