Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva praised India’s remarkable progress over the past decade under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, he emphasised that India’s growth is now being acknowledged globally, and that PM Modi's leadership continues to elevate the country on the world stage.

“India has made unprecedented strides in the last 10 years, and today, the entire world acknowledges and salutes the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In Delhi too, the PM has initiated several projects to build a better city and improve the lives of its residents," Sachdeva remarked.

Sachdeva highlighted the Central Government’s infrastructure initiatives in Delhi, including the establishment of key expressways. “The Central Government has developed a comprehensive network of expressways in the city, including the Urban Extension Road (UER) 2, Dwarka Expressway, Meerut Expressway, Eastern-Western Peripheral Expressway and the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. These developments are vital for the city’s connectivity and overall growth," he said.

He also pointed to the growing popularity of the newly developed Kartavya Path, which saw over 2 lakh visitors on its opening day this New Year. The Delhi BJP president also highlighted several key landmarks that have been established under the Central Government’s initiatives.

Sachdeva said several upcoming projects would benefit Delhi residents. “PM Modi will inaugurate three projects in Delhi University. As many as 1,675 flats will also be allocated to residents of slum areas in Ashok Vihar," he said.

Sachdeva said the PM would inaugurate the World Trade Centre at Narouji Nagar. “In the fourth phase of the Metro expansion, the PM will lay the foundation for the Rithala-Narela-Kundli corridor. There will also be an extension of the Magenta Line between Janakpuri and Krishna Park," he shared.

Other significant initiatives include the construction of the Central Ayurvedic Research Institute building in Rohini and unveiling of the RATS (Regional Air Traffic System) project.

These projects, according to Sachdeva, are a clear indication of the government's commitment to transforming Delhi into a world-class city.
