Officials also noted a surge in enrolments for technical and skill-based courses this year — a trend highlighting the shift towards career-focused education even within open and distance learning formats.

Professor Payal Mago, director, SOL-DU, said, “The steady increase in admissions reflects the trust students place in the quality and flexibility of our programmes. We are constantly upgrading our digital learning platforms and introducing new courses that align with the changing needs of the job market. This year’s response clearly shows that SOL has become a preferred choice for learners who want to balance education with other responsibilities.”
