New Delhi, February 20
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva has raised concerns regarding water meter issues under the administration of Arvind Kejriwal. Sachdeva has highlighted alleged mismanagement and deception surrounding “faulty” meter installations, which have resulted in increased erratic water bills for consumers.
He said, “The Kejriwal government, through its corrupt practices over the past nine years, has not only completely ruined the Delhi Jal Board financially but has also deceived millions of consumers.”
He criticised the government for failing to fulfil pre-election promises, such as eliminating the tanker mafia and improving water supply through pipeline networks. Sachdeva also pointed out the inconsistency between Kejriwal’s previous pledge to ban air flow meters and the government’s decision to continue using them.
