Apart from heading the Home Department, Sood has also been assigned key portfolios, including power, urban development, education, higher education and training and technical education.

He assured that his administration would work with integrity and dedication. “I will ensure that the Home Department operates with complete transparency and dedication,” he added.

Sood also mentioned a recent high-level meeting, led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, with officials of the Delhi Jal Board.

He highlighted the government’s priority of addressing Delhi’s water supply concerns. “In the meeting, we discussed ways to ensure the supply of clean water to the residents of Delhi,” he stated.
