The Delhi University’s ongoing physical mop-up round witnessed 435 admissions on Wednesday, the second day of the special drive. The round was introduced after several admission cycles left thousands of seats vacant across colleges and programmes.
On Wednesday, admissions were held for the BA (Honours) programmes, where nearly 1,700 seats were available. According to officials, 435 students completed the admission process, of which 322 made their fee payments the same day. The university reported that 1,451 students from the general category and 990 from the Other Backward Classes appeared for enrolment.
