In a strategic move to strengthen its organisational structure ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, the Delhi BJP has announced significant changes in its leadership. Following a meeting of the Delhi state executive on Sunday, the party announced the reshuffle on Monday.

Vishnu Mittal has been appointed state general secretary, while Rajkumar Bhatia, a nominated municipal councillor, has been assigned the role of state vice-president. Mittal, who previously served as the state vice-president, has now been entrusted with the critical role of general secretary.

Bhatia, who has a history of active involvement in Delhi politics, including contesting Assembly elections from Adarsh Nagar, has been promoted to the post of state vice-president.
