BJP govt will deliver on poll promises, assures Sachdeva
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva congratulated the newly appointed BJP government, including Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and all cabinet ministers, expressing confidence that the new leadership would deliver on the promises made during the election campaign.
“The BJP government will implement every commitment made in its manifesto. Though this is a new government, every member has extensive experience as public representatives, giving them invaluable administrative expertise to govern effectively,” Sachdeva said.
He highlighted several critical issues that have been neglected by the previous government over the past decade such as cleaning of the Yamuna, pollution control and waste management.
Sachdeva assured that these would be top priorities for the BJP-led administration, which would work systematically to address these long-standing challenges.
“We will transform Delhi into a well-developed city with an environmentally sustainable future, ensuring a pollution-free and clean Capital for the people,” he added.
In a special address, Sachdeva also acknowledged the vital role of women in securing the BJP’s victory. He thanked the women of Delhi for rejecting the false promises of Arvind Kejriwal’s government and empowering the BJP to form a double-engine government. He emphasised that the new government would fulfil every promise made to women, ensuring their safety, empowerment and inclusion in the city’s progress.
The Delhi BJP chief did not shy away from criticising the previous government, stating that the past 10 years under Kejriwal had been marked by lies, corruption and a lack of action on key issues. He assured the people that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Delhi would now experience a government focused on development, trust and accountability.
“After 10 years of deceit and excuses, people of Delhi will finally see a governance model that prioritises development and progress. We are committed to building a Delhi that is not only cleaner and greener but also a hub for economic and social growth,” said Sachdeva.
