Ahead of the Assembly elections, the BJP unveiled its new theme song on Tuesday, sung by party MP Manoj Tiwari.
The remixed version of the popular 2017 track, “BJP Dil Mein, BJP Dilli Mein”, includes updates reflecting the party’s current election guarantees.
Tiwari, who represents northeast Delhi, said the original song had garnered immense love from Delhi residents. “Some songs are created in such a way that they need to be remixed. My team asked me to remix the 2017 song, which today reflects our election promises,” said Tiwari.
Chandni Chowk MP Praveen Khandelwal, who was present at the launch, congratulated Tiwari for the remake and noted the success of the previous election anthem, “Bahane Nahi, Badlav Chahiye, Dilli Mein BJP Sarkar Chahiye”.
He expressed confidence that this new song would also resonate deeply with Delhi citizens and strengthen the party’s electoral strategy.
Tiwari said given the continued popularity of the original track, the remixed version was expected to have a similar impact on voters in the upcoming elections.
Tiwari also pointed to growing dissatisfaction among Delhi residents with the present AAP government, arguing that only the BJP’s ‘double-engine government’ could provide new momentum needed for Delhi’s development.
“We are confident that just as ‘BJP Dil Mein, BJP Dilli Mein’ became a victory anthem for the 2017 elections, this remixed version will lead us to success in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections,” Tiwari concluded.
