BJP vows to fulfil promises made to slum dwellers
Following a resounding victory in the recent Delhi Assembly elections, the Delhi BJP, led by president Virendra Sachdeva, honored “Jhuggi Basti Palaks” and “Vistaraks” for their crucial role in the party’s success on Friday.
The event, attended by several prominent BJP leaders, celebrated the efforts of those who helped strengthen the BJP’s connection with slum dwellers and ensure their support during the election.
In his address, Delhi BJP president Sachdeva thanked Jhuggi Basti Palaks and Vistarks for their pivotal role in securing the trust of slum dwellers and aiding the BJP’s victory in the elections. He praised their efforts in protecting the community from the misleading statements of Arvind Kejriwal. He emphasised that the BJP has remained in constant touch with slum residents, addressing their issues and concerns.
Sachdeva assured the attendees that once the BJP forms the government, the party would fulfil all its promises made to the slum dwellers.
“The BJP government will definitely fulfil the promises made to slum dwellers after the formation of the government,” he stated. He further assured that the BJP remains committed to being the voice of slum residents and would continue advocating for their rights.
Delhi BJP’s general Secretary Vishnu Mittal also acknowledged the significant role of slum dwellers in the election, particularly in 12 constituencies where the BJP emerged victorious. He noted that these residents, frustrated by the deceitful politics of Arvind Kejriwal, chose to support the BJP, and the party would ensure that their expectations are met.
