BJP’s dist unit expels 34 leaders, workers for anti-party activities
The district unit of the BJP has expelled 34 local leaders and workers of the party for six years on charges of anti-party activities.
In a press release issued here today, the District President of the BJP, Raj Kumar Vohra announced that the expulsion comes after a review and discussion with the state unit president of the BJP, about the activities of the some of the party activists and workers regarding their alleged involvement in activities against the interest of the party.
The expelled leaders include three outgoing municipal corporators identified as Bir Singh Nain (Ward No. 7), Jitender Yadav Billu (Ward NO. 24), Somlata Bahdana (Ward No. 26), Kuldeep Tewatia and Jitender Bhadana, both outgoing members of the Faridabad Municipal Corporation. It is revealed that as they have been denied ticket by the party, they announced to contest as Independent candidates or against the official BJP candidate in the respective Wards.
The list of those expelled includes Anju Bhadana, member state executive, Mahila Morcha; Angad Chaurasia, former state coordinator, Purvanchal cell; Umesh Sharma, district coordinator, Panchayati Raj cell; Sanjay Mahendru, member district executive committee; and Ajay Yadav, district secretary of the OBC cell of the party.
