Boy goes missing after getting poor grades, found at gurdwara

A 14-year-old government school boy who disappeared from his house in Roop Nagar area, on Monday, after getting poor grades in Class X was found safe at Nanak Piau Gurdwara in North Delhi, the police said.

The child’s father, a resident of Dayalpur, filed a missing person report with the police.

The police examined footage from nearly 60 CCTV cameras and found that the boy was last seen near Nanak Piao Gurdwara in Rana Pratap Bagh.

According to the police, the boy had been upset over his academic performance and decided to skip school. Later, when he felt hungry, he went to the gurdwara for food.

The child was handed over to his parents after proper verification.
