Van driver Mohammad Gulfam, who rushed the injured couple, Navjot Singh and his wife Sandeep Kaur, to the hospital from the accident site, said people were making videos but nobody came to help the victims.

Gulfam said while he was driving through Dhaula Kuan road, he noticed people had gathered and making videos of the accident site.

“I, along with another Sikh man, pulled out the injured persons from the car and rushed all victims, along with the couple who were lying on the road, to the hospital in my vehicle,” he said.

Mohammad Gulfam said the woman in the car asked him to take them to a hospital in Azadpur. She was talking to someone on phone.

“The injured persons were admitted to the hospital. Singh’s wife gave him their address and asked him to inform the family about the incident,” he said.

“Today, I came here to meet the family,” Gulfam mentioned.
