The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), in partnership with AIIMS New Delhi, launched an offline wellness training programme under 'Project MATE' (Mind Activation Through Education), focusing on adolescent mental health. Running from August 26-30, the pilot trains around 50 counsellors from CBSE-affiliated schools in Delhi-NCR.
The initiative aims to boost emotional resilience, coping skills, and peer support through. CBSE Chairperson Rahul Singh highlighted the rising mental health challenges among students in today’s fast-paced world. AIIMS Director Dr M Srinivas called it a “transformative collaboration” blending health and education.
