The Delhi BJP held its first official meeting of newly elected district presidents on Tuesday under the leadership of Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva.

The gathering at the state party office marked a significant moment, as it coincides with the completion of nearly 100 days of the Rekha Gupta-led Delhi Government and 11 years of the Narendra Modi government at the Centre.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta addressed the meeting, briefing the newly appointed leaders about the major reforms undertaken during her government’s first 100 days in office. She also invited inputs and suggestions from the district presidents to strengthen developmental efforts across the capital.

Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva emphasised the party’s mission to build a ‘Viksit Delhi’ (Developed Delhi) in alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s national vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’. “The newly formed district and mandal organisations must contribute wholeheartedly to achieving this goal,” Sachdeva said.

Calling it a “significant week,” Sachdeva pointed out that it marks both 11 years of the Modi government and the completion of 100 days of the Rekha Gupta-led administration in Delhi.

He also announced a two-week campaign—Sankalp Se Siddhi (From Resolution to Accomplishment)—to celebrate the milestone of 11 years and urged full participation from all party units, from state to mandal level.

Also present at the meeting were Delhi BJP co-incharge Dr Alka Gurjar, organisation general secretary Pawan Rana and general secretary Vishnu Mittal, who extended their congratulations and set expectations for the new district leadership.

All 14 newly elected district presidents and 105 state council members attended the session, which is expected to set the tone for the party’s organisational and governance roadmap in the months ahead.
