Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday inaugurated a Jan Seva Kendra (Public Service Centre) at the community centre located in the DDA Flats near Rajiv Gandhi Park in the Greater Kailash Assembly constituency.
Speaking at the event, the CM said her government is committed to Delhi’s development and will ensure adequate funding for all civic works.
“Today’s event is a tribute to Nari Shakti (women’s power),” Gupta said. “When the MLA, the MP and the Chief Minister are all women, it is a powerful symbol of women’s leadership and empowerment.”
She added that in the last five months, the city had witnessed noticeable improvements in drainage, roadwork, water supply, sewage management and pollution control.
“Traders will no longer need to make repeated visits to government offices for licences. With the introduction of a single-window system, administrative processes will be significantly streamlined,” she said.
“The government remains committed to fulfilling even the smallest aspirations of Delhi’s citizens—whether it’s cleaning a drain, repairing a street, or resolving local drainage issues,” she added.
Gupta also reassured citizens that any development project in need of financial assistance would receive timely support from the state government.
