The atmosphere was festive and joyful as children tied colourful rakhis on the Chief Minister’s wrist, symbolising love, trust and protection. In return, CM Gupta offered them gifts and expressed gratitude for their presence. “Thank you for making this occasion so special,” she told the children.

Reflecting on the significance of the festival, Gupta said, “Raksha Bandhan represents the sacred bond and enduring trust between brothers and sisters. This being my first Raksha Bandhan as Chief Minister makes it all the more meaningful.”
