On Monday morning, the Chief Minister, along with her family, reached Kedarnath Dham via helicopter from Dehradun. At the sacred shrine, she performed prayers under the guidance of temple priests and bowed before Lord Shiva.

Later speaking to the media, Rekha shared that she experienced immense peace and divine energy at the site and prayed for strength, determination and unity among citizens to contribute to the nation’s progress.

“It is only by the grace of the Lord that I have been entrusted with the service of Delhi,” said the Chief Minister, adding that she sought blessings from Baba Kedarnath for the courage to work tirelessly towards the realisation of “Viksit Delhi” and “Viksit Bharat”.

After offering prayers at Kedarnath, the Chief Minister proceeded to Badrinath Dham, where she performed rituals and took blessings from Lord Badrivishal. Reiterating her vision, she said her prayers were not just for personal strength, but for the well-being of every citizen of Delhi.

“My aspiration is to build Delhi into a prosperous, clean and culturally enriched metropolis where tradition and progress walk hand in hand,” she stated.

Gupta emphasised that her vision of a Viksit Delhi goes far beyond physical infrastructure. “It represents a city where every citizen has access to essential services, modern healthcare, quality education and an environment that allows Delhi to emerge as a truly global Capital,” she said.
