New Delhi, September 1

Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva on Sunday visited Gurdwara Pul Bangash following the registration of a case against former Cabinet Minister Jagdish Tytler for his alleged role in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. Sachdeva attributed this to PM Narendra Modi’s resolve to deliver justice to the Sikh community.

“In 1984, Congress-linked rioters killed three Sikhs, injured many and desecrated Gurdwara Sahib. For 40 years, local Sikhs who witnessed the riots incited by then minister Jagdish Tytler demanded a case to be filed against him, but the Congress protected him,” Sachdeva remarked.
