The INDI alliance in Delhi is once again in turmoil as Delhi CM Atishi demands removal of the Congress from the coalition, accusing the party of working in alliance with the BJP.

Meanwhile in a sharp critique, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) president Devender Yadav called Arvind Kejriwal the “biggest imposter” in Delhi’s political history. He claimed that AAP is also working for the BJP.

Yadav further accused Kejriwal and his key allies, including Sanjay Singh, Manish Sisodia and Satyender Jain, of corruption while attempting to repair their tarnished image amidst mounting legal issues.

“Kejriwal has turned out to be the biggest imposter Delhi has ever seen. People trusted him to deliver a transparent and honest government, but he betrayed their faith. His actions have exposed him for what he truly is — a fraud,” Yadav said, referring to Kejriwal's involvement in corruption scandals, including the liquor scam and money laundering cases.

Yadav’s remarks come as AAP faces increasing political and legal challenges, with top leaders, including Kejriwal, Sisodia and Jain, out on bail, while the threat of further arrests looms over them.

“With defeat staring at them, AAP's leadership is now blaming everyone, except themselves, for their downfall. They refuse to acknowledge the price they are paying for being the ‘B’ team of the BJP," Yadav added.

“During month-long Delhi Nyay Yatra, people told me that the Congress should never have aligned with a corruption-tainted party like AAP. Had the Congress fought the 2019 Lok Sabha elections alone, our candidates would have won,” Yadav claimed.

Yadav also criticised the recent actions of the Delhi government, specifically a public notice issued by government departments that debunked Kejriwal's promises of financial aid to women and health insurance for senior citizens.

"The Delhi government clarified that Kejriwal’s promises of Rs 2,100 for women and health insurance for senior citizens have no official approval. AAP is collecting personal voter details under the guise of these schemes, which is nothing but a fraud," Yadav stated.

Addressing the political trajectory of Kejriwal, Yadav pointed to the initial backing the AAP leader received from the BJP and RSS. “Kejriwal, who was pushed onto Delhi’s political stage with the support of the BJP and RSS, is now hoisted by his own petard. His former allies have turned against him, and he has no one left to blame except himself," he said.

In a final blow to AAP, Yadav pointed to the party's poor performance in Haryana where it failed to make any significant impact. “In Haryana, AAP candidates lost their security deposits in 99 per cent of the seats, despite Kejriwal and his wife campaigning for them,” he concluded.
