Cybersecurity workshop for DU staffers ends

The University of Delhi’s Department of Computer Science, in collaboration with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Noida, recently concluded a five-day faculty development programme (FDP) on “Cyber offences, defence and investigation”.

Held from July 14 to 18, the programme aimed to enhance faculty’s practical skills in cybersecurity.

The FDP was organised under the Government of India’s Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) Project (Phase-III), which focuses on human resource development for a secure cyberspace.

DUCC Director and Dean, DU faculty of technology, Sanjeev Singh stressed the importance of continuous learning, stating, “Faculty members must remain updated with rapidly evolving cyber technologies to ensure a secure digital future through education.”

The programme covered a wide range of topics, including the identification, prevention, and investigation of cyber threats.
