Delhi airport issues advisory after bad weather disrupts flight operations in Leh
The Delhi airport on Wednesday issued a passenger advisory after adverse weather conditions in Leh disrupted flight operations.
"Due to bad weather conditions in Leh, flight operations to the destination have been affected. We are working closely with all the stakeholders to support passengers and minimize inconvenience," the advisory, posted on X, read.
Passengers have been advised to contact their respective airlines for latest updates on flight status.
Airport authorities said they were coordinating with all stakeholders to reduce inconvenience to travellers.
The disruption came as North India experienced its wettest monsoon in more than a decade, with rainfall recorded at 20 per cent above normal, the highest since 2013 when the Kedarnath floods struck.
