A Delhi Court on Saturday summoned former Bihar CM Rabri Devi, her daughters Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav and certain other accused in a money laundering case in the Railways land-for-job scam and directed them to appear before it on February 9.

The summons were issued after the court took cognisance of a chargesheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate, linking them to the alleged scam.

Special Judge Vishal, who said there were sufficient grounds to proceed against the accused, issued a production warrant against businessman Amit Katyal, who is currently in judicial custody in the case.

A “close associate” of the Yadav family, Railways employee Katyal (49) was arrested in this case by the ED in November last year.

Alleged beneficiary Hridayanand Chaudhary and two firms — AK Infosystems Pvt Ltd and AB Exports Pvt Ltd — through their common director Shariqul Bari have also been named in the ED chargesheet.

The ED was expected to file supplementary chargesheets in the case. Earlier, former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad was summoned by the agency but he was yet to depose. However, his son and Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav has deposed once before the agency.
