Sood said the government is fully committed to ensuring that Kanwar pilgrims are able to undertake their spiritual journey with complete dignity and devotion, while also maintaining public convenience and smooth functioning of the city.

The government will establish a single-window clearance system at the District Magistrate’s office. This system will facilitate swift approvals and permissions from various departments. Sood emphasised that all arrangements—including sanitation, drinking water, electricity, and traffic management—will be made in a timely and coordinated manner to ensure that the pilgrims face no inconvenience.

The Power Department has been directed to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply along the Yatra route and at camp sites. Municipal and Urban Development authorities have been asked to identify rest points along the route and ensure the availability of toilets, drinking water, proper lighting, and cleanliness at these locations.

The Delhi Police will deploy adequate numbers of male and female personnel along the routes and at camps. Police officers have also been asked to monitor the use of sound systems near residential areas and ensure that devotional music is played only during permitted hours.
