The Delhi Government has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring employment for all segments of society, from labourers to engineers, with a focused drive to eliminate unemployment across the city. Labour and Employment Minister Kapil Mishra chaired a high-level meeting at the Delhi Secretariat on Tuesday to discuss strategies aimed at creating job opportunities for Delhi’s youth in various sectors.

The meeting saw participation from key stakeholders, including representatives from industrial bodies such as DICCI (Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), CII and PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as officials from the Department of Training and Technical Education, Department of Higher Education and Delhi Technical Institute.

Mishra emphasised that the government was determined to leaving no stone unturned in its mission to provide employment aligned with the qualifications and interests of Delhi’s youth. “Every youth of Delhi is our priority. Whether a labourer, an engineer, or a graduate from a technical or non-technical background, we are committed to ensuring employment opportunities for all,” he said.
