Delivery boy held for rape, abduction of minor girl in Gurugram

A 20-year-old delivery boy was arrested for allegedly raping a minor girl after abducting her on the pretext of marriage. An FIR was registered at DLF phase 3 police station on Monday. The accused was produced in a city court today and sent into judicial custody, said police.
According to the complaint filed by a woman, a native of West Bengal, her neighbour Hari Mohan fled after abducting her 14-year-old daughter on pretext of marriage. The accused raped her daughter on April 7 and later fled away after leaving her outside their home in Nathupur area.
Following the complaint an FIR was registered against the accused under Section 6 of POCSO Act at DLF phase 3 police station on Monday and police arrested the accused.
“The accused used to work as a delivery boy and has confessed to crime. We have produced him in a city court and sent into judicial custody,” said Inspector Rajender Singh, SHO of DLF phase 3 police station.
