The Executive Council of the University of Delhi (DU), approved the appointment of Prof Rajni Abbi’s as the Director of DU South Campus.
“We are committed to inclusive leadership and growth and I am grateful to be entrusted with this responsibility,” Prof Abbi said after her appointment.
The meeting chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof Yogesh Singh, approved a series of significant decisions pertaining to the university’s infrastructure projects and faculty appointments.
“University of Delhi is fully ready for the 4th year of UG under NEP-2020. All kinds of modern facilities are being provided for the convenience of the students,” Singh said.
Outlining academic enhancements, including upgraded digital infrastructure, the DU VC said, “Wi-Fi connectivity has been expanded across the university at a cost of Rs 65.71 crore. The university library is now online, providing access to over two lakh digital books and journals 24x7,” he announced.
