The Nuh police have arrested a drug peddler with over 50-kg illegal marijuana. However, his associate managed to flee the spot. The police also impounded the Brezza car from their possession. An FIR was registered at the Nuh Sadar police station.
According to Krishan Kumar, spokesperson for the Nuh police, the Nuh CIA team received information about them on Tuesday morning. The team took immediate action and raided the site. When the police team stopped the car, one of the accused ran away while the other was nabbed. The arrested accused has been identified as Heera Lal, a resident of Ribad village in Palwal district, while his associate has been identified as Haroon, a resident of Khori village in Nuh.
“When the CIA team searched the car, two plastic bags were recovered. The police found a 50.760-kg marijuana in the bags. The police seized the marijuana and arrested the accused Heera Lal. An FIR has been registered and raids are conducted to nab Haroon, who will be arrested soon,” added the spokesperson.
