New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) in collaboration with a Japanese firm on Friday launched electronic-waste recycling boxes for commuters to dispose of used printer ink bottles and cartridges, officials said. “These boxes have been installed at 15 prominent interchange metro stations, including Welcome, Kashmere Gate, and Rajiv Chowk, among others,” DMRC’s Principal Executive Director Anuj Dayal said. Teen jumps from 14th floor, dies
Faridabad: A 17-year-old boy died after he jumped from the 14th floor of his residential building in Sector 85 on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday. The body was handed over to his family after a postmortem at the civil hospital. The victim was a Class XII student at a private school. He allegedly jumped from the balcony of his 14th-floor apartment in Adore Society around 2.30 am on Thursday. It is reported that he was distressed over his studies and ended his life out of frustration.
