New Delhi, July 3
The ED today said it issued fresh summons to former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), asking him to appear before it for questioning on July 5 in connection with a case of alleged corruption and extortion.
Officials said this was the third notice to the NCP leader for deposing before the investigating officer (IO) in the case. He has been asked to record his statement on Monday, they added. — TNS
