The Delhi Legislative Assembly has initiated the process of allocating constituency offices to newly elected MLAs, ensuring they have the necessary infrastructure to serve their constituents effectively.

Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta has directed the relevant departments to expedite the process, emphasising the importance of seamless communication between legislators and the public.

Following the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections, the offices previously occupied by former MLAs were vacated as per protocol. With the newly elected representatives having taken oaths, the allocation of constituency offices has now begun to facilitate legislative and public service activities without delay.

Speaker Vijender Gupta said these offices were crucial for MLAs to address public concerns and enhance governance transparency.

“Providing our elected representatives with the necessary resources to serve the people efficiently is our top priority. These offices act as a vital link between MLAs and the public, enabling direct communication and problem-solving,” he said.
