Niti Aayog member Dr VK Paul has urged Ministries to work with the Health Ministry to help eliminate filariasi. The mass drug administration campaign will be taken on a mission mode in two phases every year beginning on February 10 and August 10.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
