A fire broke out in an Air India bus parked near Terminal 3 (T3) of the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport around 1 pm on Monday, officials said.
Fire tenders, local police and teams from the CISF and other agencies rushed to the spot to extinguish the blaze.
“The bus was not carrying any passengers or luggage at that time. Only the driver was inside when the incident occurred,” an official said.
In a statement, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) said the bus was stationary when the fire broke out and that the flames were quickly brought under control.
The incident caused no injuries or casualties and did not affect airport operations, DIAL added.
