Two shops and a scooter were gutted after a fire broke out in Tilak Market in Delhi’s Ramesh Nagar area in the early hours of Thursday, officials from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) said. No casualties were reported in the incident.
According to DFS officials, the Fire Department received a call at 2:55 am. Five fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot to contain the blaze.
“A toy shop, a watch shop, and a scooter parked nearby were completely gutted in the fire,” a DFS officer said, adding that the flames were brought under control by 4:05 am.
