Four juveniles stab security guard to death
New Delhi, August 22
A 35-year-old security guard, identified as Vinod, was found with multiple stab wounds on the road in Khyala, West Delhi, on Wednesday night, police officials said on Thursday. The police received a PCR call around 8.30 pm about the man lying on the road. Vinod was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), West district, Vichitra Veer, Vinod had sustained several stab wounds. “Initial inspection revealed multiple stab wounds on his body,” he added.
Following the registration of a murder case, the police launched an extensive investigation and later apprehended four juveniles in connection with the crime.
The DCP suggested that the motive behind the murder was a workplace dispute. “One of the accused was formerly employed at the factory where Vinod worked as a security guard. Vinod had reported the accused’s unruly behaviour to the factory owner, leading to his dismissal,” he said.
In what appears to be an act of revenge, the dismissed worker, along with three accomplices, attacked Vinod with knives, resulting in his death. Vinod had been living alone in Delhi, while his wife and children reside in Bihar.
