Chairing a review meeting with department heads at the Delhi Secretariat, she stressed that the Capital has adequate funds and the Centre is extending full support to make the Capital a “Developed Delhi.”

“We have a record budget of Rs 1 lakh crore this year. So, no project will face financial hurdles,” she said, adding that senior officials must closely monitor progress and resolve bottlenecks without delay.

Noting while 119 out of 199 departments have adopted e-office system, Gupta asked the remaining departments to join the system immediately and work towards complete digitalisation of offices.

The Chief Minister emphasised the role of digital governance in improving efficiency, urging departments to act swiftly on public grievances received through the PGMS portal and prioritise works linked to public representatives. She also called for active participation in the “Kude Se Azadi” cleanliness campaign during August.

Highlighting the importance of citizen-friendly offices, Gupta told department heads to renovate premises, where needed, to ensure better public service delivery.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary and senior officials, with discussions covering development projects, public service initiatives and administrative reforms.
