A 23-year-old woman, preparing for GATE, allegedly died by suicide at her rented accommodation in Katwariya Sarai of Delhi’s South West on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Riya Bharti, a native of Muzaffarpur in Bihar. Her body was hanging from a ceiling fan. Her landlord Dalbir Singh said she had been residing in the room since July with her boyfriend Partha. No suicide note was recovered from the spot. Meanwhile, a law student (20) allegedly died after jumping from her eighth-floor apartment here on Monday, the police said. The student, who was pursuing law at a college in Delhi, was undergoing treatment for mental health issues, a police officer said.
