The Delhi Police has arrested five alleged drug peddlers and seized heroin worth around Rs 6 crore in a major crackdown in outer north Delhi, an official said on Wednesday.

According to police, a sustained operation against narcotics networks led to the seizure of 3.1 kilograms of heroin, which has a street value of nearly Rs 6 crore.

Five people allegedly involved in peddling the contraband have been taken into custody, they said.
