New Delhi: Chief Minister Atishi received the official allocation letter for the Chief Minister’s residence, Flag Staff Road Bungalow, the CMO said. Despite the formal allocation, the CM is yet to take possession of the residence, it added. “CM Atishi received an allocation letter for CM House at 6, Flagstaff Road, on Wednesday night. However, she has not received possession of the house as of yet. She continues to occupy her official residence at AB-17, Mathura Road,” the CMO said in a statement. The PWD has issued an ‘authority slip’ to the CM and it was up to her to decide the date and time of moving into the bungalow, officials said.

Siblings steal cables, held

New Delhi: The Delhi Police have arrested two brothers accused of stealing cables from Metro stations and causing disruptions in the train services, an officer said on Thursday. The accused have been identified as Sumit, alias Billa, and his younger brother Deepak, both residents of Sarita Vihar area. According to the police, both are members of Shahnawaz gang and Chuha gang.

3 nabbed with Rs 2.5-cr heroin

New Delhi: The Delhi Police have arrested three men and claimed to have busted an interstate gang of drug suppliers, officials on Thursday said. The police recovered 625 gm of heroin and 5 kg of cannabis, worth Rs 2.52 crore from their possession, they said.
