New Delhi: The Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi, R. Alice Vaz, announced the launch of a toll-free helpline, 1950, to assist citizens with electoral queries and complaints. The Voter Helpline aims to provide easy access to information about voter IDs, electoral rolls, polling stations, online registration, and voting dates. Available in English, Hindi, and other regional languages, the helpline operates daily from 9 AM to 9 PM. Citizens can also register complaints and provide feedback. Water crisis in Delhi areas

New Delhi: Many areas of the national capital face water shortage due to dangerously high levels of ammonia in the Yamuna at the Wazirabad pond, a statement of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) said. Ammonia concentrations exceeding 5.0 ppm have reduced water production by 25-50pc. The affected areas include Majnu Ka Tila, ISBT, GPO, NDMC area, ITO, Hans Bhawan, LNJP Hospital, Defence Colony, CGO Complex, Rajghat, WHO, IP Emergency, Ramleela Ground, Delhi Gate, Subhash Park, Gulabi Bagh, Timarpur, SFS Flats, Punjabi Bagh, Azadpur, Shalimar Bagh, Wazirpur, Lawrence Road, Model Town, Jahangirpuri, Moolchand, South Extension, Greater Kailash, Burari, parts of Cantonment areas, and South Delhi.
