India’s budding culinary stars shine at AHP Hospitality Challenge 2025

The 8th edition of the culinary challenge organised by Association of Hospitality Professional (APH) began at Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management in New Delhi on Tuesday.

A release issued here said that the challenge featured wide range of categories that tested every aspect of professional cooking and presentation including International Cuisine (3-course menu), Regional Indian Cuisine (3-course menu,) Biryani Competition, Kebabs, Sweet Sensation (Western dessert display), Dressing a Cake, Ornamental Bread (artistic edible showpieces), International Confectionery (miniature cakes), 45 Minutes Live Cooking Challenge and Halwai (Indian sweets and snacks.)

The competition will culminate on July 30th in APH excellence award 2025, to be held at The Suryaa, New Delhi where winners from culinary challenge and other categories will be honoured.

“The level of culinary skill and passion displayed by these young professionals was truly remarkable. What stood out even more was the confidence and creativity of the specially-abled participants, who matched their peers step for step. It was a powerful reminder that excellence in hospitality knows no boundaries,” said Chef Surinder Sharma, General Manager, Manla Homes Resort, and senior jury member.
