In the inaugural session, Prof Pawan Kumar Sharma, Controller of Examinations, JMI, stressed on India’s civilisational roots of inclusivity. “Inclusive education is not merely a modern concept but an intrinsic part of India’s cultural heritage, guiding us towards equity and harmony in learning spaces,” he remarked.

Vikas Trivedi, Deputy Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, delivered the keynote.

Over eight sessions spread across the two days, the workshop featured discussions on global inclusive education policies, the role of AI and technology, teacher development, gender and sociological perspectives, therapeutic interventions, pedagogical frameworks and experiential learning.
