Faridabad: The 30th International Conference of the International Academy of Physical Sciences, focusing on Recent Advances in Science and Technology towards Sustainability (RASTS-2024), organised by JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, concluded on Thursday. The conference drew participation from over 200 esteemed delegates and researchers from both India and abroad. In the valedictory session, eminent Prof Sunita Srivastava from the Central University of Haryana, Mahendragarh, graced the occasion as the chief guest, while Prof Toshifumi Dohi from Ritsumeikan University, Japan, was honoured as the guest of honour.

The Department of History, Maitreyi College, University of Delhi, unveils its annual fest, ‘Kaladarpan’, inviting enthusiasts to know the Indian history through performing arts. An exciting addition to the line-up is ‘Durbar — A Historical Courtroom Debate’, where teams engage in captivating re-enactments of historical trials. Set for March 11 at the NSB Seminar Hall, participants will embody key historical figures, debating their actions amidst a courtroom-style atmosphere.

Storytelling contests from March 6

The Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Science for Women will organise Pixomania’24, a vibrant celebration of visual storytelling, on March 6 and 7. During the event, a flurry of events, including Nazara, a photo exhibition, will be organised. Besides, online inter-college reel-making competition will be part of the event. Other photography-related contests such as Ink-O-Shots 2.0 and Snap Roulette will be held during the event. Additionally, Dialogue Dash invites participants to showcase their wit in a caption contest.
