Chandigarh, May 18

To counter the monkey menace at the Sardar Patel Covid Care Centre in New Delhi, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has placed pictures of baboons and langoors in and around the premises.

Monkeys in the centre have been seen in groups attacking people deployed at the centre, specifically the ones in PPE kits, ITBP spokesperson said.

He said pictures have helped in keeping the monkeys away from the centre.

ITBP is running a 500-bed facility to treat civilian patients who have contracted Covid.
