The Faculty of Law of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) on Tuesday announced that its students had secured pre-placement offers from prominent law firms and admission offers for higher education from universities abroad.

“Two students of BA LLB (Hons) secured pre-placement offers from Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India and Trilegal, which are among India’s top full-service law firms, with an annual package of 9 lakh per annum and 16.5 lakh per annum, respectively. Another student of BA LLB (Hons) received an offer of admission for the master of law (LLM) programme from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom,” a statement from JMI read.

Ghulam Yazdani, dean, faculty of law, applauded the efforts and vision of Vice-Chancellor Mazhar Asif for taking keen interest in speeding up the placement initiatives and creating various job avenues for the

passing out students.
